@tougher-than-school I must disagree, we have always had others back, while they turned their backs on us! There comes a time when We as a people must focus on US! As all other ethnic groups do, they look out for their own 1st! We are not united enough as a people to be stretched out & divided trying to fight, the immigrants fight, the Muslim fight & our own! Fuck that fam they can go back home! This is it for us, we can’t hop in a car & drive across the border back to Africa! We made this country what it is! Our ancestors hung from trees & bleed into the American soil!… It’s our labor that brought this country into prosperity & then brought it back after the civil war! Not muslims, nor immigrants US!!.. The Muslim community did not represent for us during the marches in Atlanta, Detroit, Louisiana where brothers were gunned down in cold blood… The immigrant community didn’t not either! But we continuously include them in the plight of our people when they don’t do the same!… Nau God I’m sick of it… u can continue to let them use you, but me & mine are about Us, my people.. Come at me when it’s a black kid.” Minorities have to stick together. You and I both know that Trump is never going to enact anything that directly hurts white America, besides repealing the ACA. Whites have a pretty solid history of sitting back when minorities get attacked. If we also sit back, first he’ll come for Muslims, then he’ll come for Hispanics, then he’ll come for us and by that time we won’t have any allies but ourselves. Injustice of any sort affects us. We can’t sit by while he censors the news, either, because if he wins that battle there will be no one to publish our deaths. Division is not a strategy against division.
