Actor Orlando Jones was fired from “American Gods”
“..I was fired from ‘American Gods,’ there will be no more Mr. Nancy,” Jones said in the video. “Don’t let these motherf—— tell you they love Mr. Nancy, they don’t. I’m not going to name names but the new season 3 showrunner is Connecticut-born and Yale-educated, so he’s very smart and he thinks that Mr. Nancy’s angry, get s–t done [attitude] is the wrong message for black America,” the actor said.
"This white man sits in that decision-making chair and I’m sure he has many black BFFs who are his advisers and made it clear to him that if they did not get rid of that angry god Mr. Nancy he’d start a Denmark Vesey uprising in this country. I mean, what else could it be?”
The man he is talking about is Charles Eglee (“Moonlighting,” “Dexter”).
Now we see what Gabrielle Union is going through. We know that a Hollywood exec tried to cast Julia Roberts as Harriet Tubman. John Boyega is running around Star Wars faking an American accent while his costars have a British accents. You can’t tell me there isn’t an agenda in hollywood to control black people.
For the past six months, newly chosen Green Lantern Sojourner “Jo” Mullein has been protecting the City Enduring, a massive metropolis of 20 billion people. The city has maintained peace for over 500 years by stripping its citizens of their ability to feel. As a result, violent crime is virtually unheard of, and murder is nonexistent. But that’s all about to change…
The tales told in Griots are the annals of the Africa that was, as well as Africas that never were, may have been, or should have been. They are the legends of a continent and people emerging from shadows thrust upon them in the past. They are the sagas sung by the modern heirs of the African story-tellers known by many names – including griots.
