Don’t hate me for asking this I went to Publix school, why would people hate Washington? I get Jefferson and obviously Columbus but from what I was taught Washington wasn’t particularly shitty? And I thought he wasn’t an owner of other people? Was he? Am I just wrong?
He most certainly did own slaves, I’ve been to his house and stood inside the slave chambers!
