Dear World Leaders,
NO amount of dirty blood money exchanged during bullshit wars is worth the life of a human being. No matter ethnicity, sexuality, skin color or territory. WE the HUMAN RACE, We the SOLDIERS, We the CITIZENS, We the 99%, WE THE PEOPLE, ARE. FED. UP. You no longer fight for freedom of your people but, rather the freedom to keep oppressing your people and keeping us blinded by petty differences over, color of skin, language, religion and land. As long as we are ignorant to the fact that we have ALWAYS had more similarities with each other than differences, you can keep getting paid and fucking us over. NO MORE.
You will no longer force us to choose sides and pressure us with lies and political agendas to benefit you 1% domination. No longer will we turn a blind eye/ear to wars that are falsely waged in the name of “FREEDOM”. We will no longer allow you to kill our fellow HUMAN family members without making a loud, unified, disapproving voice. NO longer will you use OUR MONEY to “BAIL OUT” BILLION $$$ corporations, just so they can lay us off, send our jobs elsewhere, deny our HUMAN RIGHT to have care for our health, deny our children education and knowledge which should be FREE for all, Toss aside our elders, and destroy OUR economy for their gain. Your time is nearing it’s end.
The 99% are waking up from your dumbed down, commercial, consumerist, “EVERYONE CAN HAVE THE AMERICAN DREAM” brainwashed stupor. All religions, Races, Nations, and Class systems are coming together to put an end to this madness. We WILL be proud of our differences and let everyone have the God given right to love anyone they choose, pray to anyone they choose, live anywhere they choose, work anywhere they choose, and go to school anywhere they choose.
We don’t want violence or hate. Just peace and understanding among the people. We want equality and a chance for everyone to reach their full potential in this world. We don’t all have to be m/billionaires but, the majority of us don’t all have to be in poverty either. Please consider what is right, what is fair, and what is necessary in order for us ALL to evolve.
Sincerely, A 99%er -EISM
BEAUTIFUL. projection of 99% onto the (hideous) verizon building. right now.

#OccupySeattle: Octogenarian activist Dorli Rainey on being pepper-sprayed by Seattle police, importance of activism
Eighty-four-year-old activist Dorli Rainey tells Keith about her experience getting pepper-sprayed by the police during an Occupy Seattle demonstration and the need to take action and spread the word of the Occupy movement. She cites the advice of the late Catholic nun and activist Jackie Hudson to “take one more step out of your comfort zone” as an inspiration, saying, “It would be so easy to say, ‘Well I’m going to retire, I’m going to sit around, watch television or eat bonbons,’ but somebody’s got to keep ’em awake and let ’em know what is really going on in this world.”
Early this morning, hundreds of demonstrators are marching on Wall Street, taking over the Financial District with mass protests.
Police have moved in and started to arrest many of the demonstrators, who are blocking Wall Street employees from getting to work and shutting down intersections.

It seems like just yesterday when we reported on this “occupation” of Wall Street, whose goal was to “flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades, and occupy Wall Street for a few months.” At the time, we naïvely suggested that they had “better find a slogan, fast,” but we’ve since learned that demands are overrated, and by the measure of that initial goal, the movement has been a success. To celebrate the two-month anniversary of the occupation, the movement is planning to shut down the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning and “throw a block party the 1% will never forget.”
The protesters plan on ringing the “People’s Bell” instead of the trading floor bell, “and initiate a street carnival in which we rebuild and celebrate the neighborhoods that the Wall Street economy has destroyed.” Crane’s reports that the event is being organized with “more than a dozen unions and community groups,” and assuming there aren’t mass arrests in front of the NYSE, demonstrators will then fan out across the city at various transportation hubs, holding public assemblies where people can talk about their communities’ needs. All of this will end in “a rally at Foley Square and a march over the Brooklyn Bridge.”
This is probably the most ambitious event planned since the occupation itself, and it’s set to begin at 7 a.m. on November 17 in Zuccotti Park. The last time we heard that the protesters were throwing a “party,” we witnessed police ramming scooters into crowds, protesters being hit with batons, and a demonstrator getting punched in the face by a senior NYPD officer.
