I remember when I was diagnosed… I felt like H I V had been tattooed across my forehead… That people could would only see me as this tainted sick individual and not want yup be around me, not want to hire me, love me, befriend me…that they would be afraid to be in the same room with me; even though, intellectually, I knew differently I couldn’t shake all those feelings. It took some time.
