I’m am the Lead Facilitator for The Positive Life Workshop at
Alliance for Positive Change located at 64 W 35th St, 3rd FL NY, NY, 10001
The Positive Life Workshop at @thealliance_nyc helps people living with #HIVAIDS who struggle with treatment adherence and/or engagement in healthcare, who are newly- diagnosed, and/or out-of- medical care.
Participants will learn how to:
Access health care
Cope with stress
Partner with your doctor
Deal with symptoms and side effects
Make decisions about #HIV treatment
Disclose status to others
Practice safer sex
Recognize the effects of drugs and alcohol
Breakfast, lunch, and roundtrip MetroCards are provided each day! Participants receive a $50 gift card & certificate upon completion of all scheduled training days! All workshops are led by Alliance #Peers.
Take control of your health! The #Positive Life Workshop is conducting a new cycle starting Dec 17 The workshop will take place on Dec 17th, 18th, 19th, & 20th
(must be a NYC resident)
