The Master Cleanse Do-over Day 5:
So.. I weighed myself this morning and the scale read 194. But wait!! Yesterday I was 192.6 lbs!
This goes to show what being sedentary, even for one day, can do. Spending the entire day watching movies I didn’t get to see in the theaters, and binge-watching TV series that I wanted to see, does not burn many calories. Even on a low calorie cleanse.
Maybe, I am retaining water since I am drinking the cleanse and the allowed herbal teas (caffeine-free). Nevertheless, it has me thinking about how sitting in front of the TV, watching a full season of something, while munching became the norm. There’s the weight gain.
So, what now?!
The last time I did this cleanse I was more active; I went to the gym (only for 20 minutes of cardio [it is suggested that you do not weight-lift or strength train while on this clease])… I’ve got ingredients that I need to re-stock; I’ll be heading to the market today. Later, I will get myself to the gym for some cardio.
