Someday… I do hope… that the N word is wiped off this planet.  No matter how you spell it, or say it, this word came from hate and I am shocked that, as a people, we still want to hold onto this term.  Why? Because it sells records? Because it makes Quentin Tarantino movies more riveting? You want to see how what this word does.. say it around an African-American in their 70s. 80s, or 90s.  See how they react.  

By using the word yourself, you’ve taught your son that it’s okay to use this disgusting word around, and when referring to, your own black adopted children.

No… Have you exercised ‘white privilege’?  Yes, I am sure you have…. but now you are 'Madonna’ and that holds clout without explanation.  However, even Oprah was not let into a jewelry boutique once and she’s 'Oprah’.  Hmmm, I wonder why?

Pet me and give me a treat...

Today, at some point during the day, I felt as if I was being treated like child by someone, or as if I were someone with special needs being harassed by a person who insisted on helping them when it’s clear they don’t need or want any assistance.  What I mean by that is, the person spoke to me with a tone in which, I felt, true sincerity was lacking, yet the words used helped this person put on a show for everyone else listening to show that he/she “cared”.  Pure bullshit! 

I wanted to say, “Are you gonna pet me and give me treat now?"  Secondly, I wanted to leap from seat and backhand the pompous, pretentious, condescending, etc etc little prick, but I didn’t. 

Some people are more sick than others.  No matter how much this person makes me sick, I will pray for this person.

Tumblr Winning and Failing

Well..

I was wondering I wouldn’t get any followers… surely there are people out there with similar interests?!?  If not followers, at least someone would find one of my posts and Like it or Reblog it. 

I started conducting Searches myself using tags that I normally use.  None of my posts were ever included with the results.  Even my own posts, when searching my archives through my blog, I would get No Posts Found. 

Turns out Tumblr has been having problems with the Search function… a few hours after my email to them last night regarding whether or not anyone else could even find my blog, my posts starting appearing in Search results.  Winning…

I got an email today explaining that they are working on the Search functionality… Winning… and there will be upgrades soon to come… Partial Win

After rolling out the New Dashboard (i don’t mind the change) I noticed, for my Theme, the Submit link is now gone on my blog… FAIL… How can my readers Submit anything to me.  I checked the HTML and the coding is still there but the /submit URL doesn’t work. FAIL

The Services tab is gone from the Customize page… FAIL How do I autopost to Facebook?

I’m happy that they are working on upgrades and fixing any bugs… but at least send out an email telling us that we are going to lose certain functions and give us a FAQ sheet to help some of us find where they moved the more common stuff…

anyway… that’s my 2 fucken cents
