DAY 2 - The Master Cleanse
Have not really felt hungry, and when I did I would just drink some water or take a gulp of the lemonade and the feeling immediately passed. However by the end of the day, I do feel like I am crashing. It feel just like the crash from crystal meth and that worries me a little. My muscle ache here & there.
I’ve been doing some more research and there are some who lose body fat and water weight and some, if not everyone, who lose that and muscle mass. The body can breakdown muscle tissue easier than fat. Muscle tissue has much needed protein. Of course the number on the scale goes down; muscle ways more than fat. My idea of modifying the the cleanse to include a few gulps of a non-dairy protein shake (so that i can take my medication) I believe was a good one. Tonight, it won’t be just a few gulps; I will probably have about a half service. Also, sticking to 5-7 days max would be best. A short-term fast followed by examining my eating habits and make healthier choices going forward is the plan.
